Cultivated Plants
Cultivated plants are those planted and grown by humans, but some of these plants can also be found growing in a wild-appearing state, such as in abandoned fields or gardens, overgrown former homesites, garden waste dumping areas, or in other semi-wild places. Here in Hawaii, it can be surprisingly difficult to determine if a plant is truly wild-growing or not. Although these cultivated plants are not officially recorded as growing wild here, some of them may be in the future.
